Myocardial infarction

I just know that, one day, my heart will attack me. I'll accept its blows without a struggle, and without retaliation. For I am certain that the assault will not be done out of malice, but in self-defense.

Thanks for reading. I just got to thinking about all the torment (various chemicals, stress, and alcohol) I've put my heart through and wrote what I guess can just be simply called "an observation."
