Out of Time

Out of Time

A Poem by Matt Decker
"

What will we make out of it before we run out of it?

"
A rose arises
Days birth surprises
OUT OF TIME.

Tide turns and flows
Wind of change blows
OUT OF TIME.

Emergencies emerge
Waves of stress crest and surge
OUT OF TIME.

Organisms evolve
Systems run and devolve
OUT OF TIME.

Plan of man hatches
Growing into magic
OUT OF TIME.

The lesson taught is learned
Nothing to something turns
OUT OF TIME.

The impossible is caught
And a miracle is wrought
OUT OF TIME.

Castles and hassles are built
Flowers and powers do wilt
OUT OF TIME.

Webs and worlds are spun
Lives and lies will run
OUT OF TIME.

Tho' the glow must fade
Oh what can be made
OUT OF TIME.
