Splendid Somebody

Splendid Somebody

A Poem by DedPoet
"

A poem of people and that ever so haunting doubt we seem to shadow ourselves with.

"
Splendidly,
I do not know your name.
And the question remains,
What will I find inside the divine shell?

In your eyes I see tranquility,
In your hands, shaking, I see the delicate nature,
How you make yourself small
And sweet, somehow it is....I dont know,
Innocent.
Splendidly, I do not know you,
My curiosity grows and grows,
Like this verse which is curious,
See you become a poem
Of my alluding words,
Tell me so that I can know you,
Splendor of the mystery,
Wether with crystalline clarity,
Or a veiled mist of romantically enchanted
Questions, because you must be
All of this,
You must be splendidly you,
(Perhaps I am just a hopeful fool)
Only I cannot penetrate
What God has mystified and
What I enjoy now,
Right now,
Only splendidly you.

I liked how you use the language. Alive and strong. Leaving thoughts and visions for the reader to digest. I like the wonder and the question in the words. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

I liked the beauty of this poem. It surely says a lot in just a few words, well that's the great thing about poems.

"In your eyes I see tranquility,"
"Wether with crystalline clarity,
Or a veiled mist of romantically enchanted "
These lines are really well-written. The poem stays with the reader after reading it. Even I have written a similar poem. Do check it.
Good luck. Happy writing. :)
