You know that I was the one to always have your back
the one who had always held your hand
From the time you crossed the streets, to the time you crossed the line...

Now there's no-one to pick you up when you're down
and no-one to teach you right from wrong

And in hindsight maybe you will realize
that maybe this just was not meant to be
and that maybe we're...just not ready.

Maybe our hands were not steady enough to grasp the concept
Maybe this problem is like a puzzle with a missing piece...jumbled and impossible to solve.
