In This Together Now

They cut you so deep

Covered you in scars.

They still make you weep,

Throwing stones from afar.

And you’re stuck here again,

Apologizin’ for tears.

Fear you’ll be on the mend

For the rest of your years.

But we will make it through this.

I will guide you by the hand.

We will find our way through this

I promise you we can.

You bled into my heart

We’ll never be apart.

You run through my veins,

Our lives are one and the same.

You hurt.

I hurt.

You fall,

I will help you out.

Cuz we’re in this together now.

I love the last stanza the most.....it is beautiful. in life we meet people that teach us songs and pass away, people that will sing the song and go away, people that make us forget the lyrics and run away and people that were always there from the start and will always remind us of the lyrics and sing with us when we forget, and sing for us when we cannot sing and stay forever.
