Another Fortune Cookie's Advice

Another Fortune Cookie's Advice

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

a sonnet for an old stoner friend

"
The fortune
cookie told me :

"You are unwhole
and you will be
until you've eaten
a fresh eggroll."

So of course
I downed one
to save my soul

In each thing in life
look for it's role
Now I think I'll
look for my bowl
and some donut holes.

Giggling here. This is so adorable! The rhyming is super and the playfulness is great. Uniquely you, Jim. Lydi**
