More from Loud-Talking Heads

More from Loud-Talking Heads

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

a slightly cynical look at the evening news

"
Tonight, in the battle
Of the loud-talking heads
Millions of people
Let the batteries
In their hearing-aids go dead
Just so they could avoid
Wondering, once they're annoyed
If a one-time-dose of lead
Would be more pleasant instead
Of more from loud-talking heads
Would it be more pleasant
To just be gratefully dead
