I was all tapped out

About two hours

Into the rain

No longer feeling

Any real pain

Its constant rapping

Had me a-napping

Having tranquilized

My manic brain

I like the lightness of this...it is a really good poem, making fun of how we can completely overthink life
and keep ourselves sheltered from it because we are afraid the rain might become a flood that drowns us in our doubts.
