The Reluctant Adventurer

The Reluctant Adventurer

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

a poem as an aside / salute to a Robert Frost work

"
Again, and yes, once more
I stood frozen before
That legendary road
The one that's less taken
Aware for the most part
Of only my shaking
And the beat of my heart
So I took but two steps
Then scrambled on back home
I hope to take three steps
The next time that I roam
Again, and yes, once more
