Uncomfortable (A Lament)

Uncomfortable (A Lament)

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

a sonnet to symptoms of sleeplessness

"
Uncomfortable
Would describe this whole day
Quite accurately
According to me
But I whine way too much
I whine constantly

Uncomfortable
To a high degree
As I'm sleepy as hell
And light-headed as well
But I'll not sleep that much
Same old story to ell

Lather, rinse, and repeat
Till my last heartbeat

As a chronic insomniac you better believe I relate to this! I always enjoy our work. Keep it coming, even though I know when one is really sleep deprived writing can be extremely difficult.

Thanks so much. I have ebbs and flows in the insomnia, but it is never gone. ~Jim
