The Rhyme in the Air

The Rhyme in the Air

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

a poem in praise of lingering nostalgia

"
You can call it all
Just nostalgia
If you so care
But with both of us
Now being here
There's no way my mind
Can help but dare
Take some trips back there
Yes, just nostalgia
Is both true and fair
But for quite a time
In a time we shared
You were all of
The rhyme in the air

Wow! I just wrote and posted a poem about memories of long ago shared with my first love and then I turned to reading and there was your great poem about nostalgia. I feel like stealing your last two lines but I won’t. Robin was my rhyme, for sure.
