B******s of the Digital Womb

B******s of the Digital Womb

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

a poem inspired by sci-fil films and folks on their phones

"
They are the children
Of modern chemistry
And new age alchemy
And codependency
They are the b******s
Of the digital womb
That electronic tomb
That's programming their doom
They are the servants
Who will serve the machine
From which they're never weaned
And their end is foreseen

Cold fire in their veins, born of wires and dust—yet still they breathe, still they struggle.
A mournful march, yes, but somewhere in the circuitry, a pulse of human stubbornness lingers.

Thank you. Yeah, a few sparks will survive. ~Jim
LOL. I just ranted about people using AI to write their poems and stories. Man I really hope reincarnation is only an option. I don’t wish to return to the world mankind is now entering. Anyhow, loved your poem.
