Last Meteor Shower

Last Meteor Shower

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

a poem for a friend

"
Last meteor shower
I only saw two
I saw one for me
And saw one for you
Then I went inside
Where I could abide
With a little cold brew
I hope that next time
You're here watching too
We'll watch one for me
And watch one for you
Next meteor shower

Long distance relationship...remember I was in one...so romantic...I used to imagine she and I were looking at the moon together, holding hands even though she was in Poland and I was here in the states.

Thank you. Yeah, it is something I didn't think would ever happen to me, but I love it anyhow. ~Jim
