Desert Knave,
Yes phrases and such which we all learn from our youngest days are such a part of everyday speech. Passed down from family member, parents and such. I sometimes just shake my head at how silly a lot of them are.
For instance myself and sisters were called cute little heifers when we were growing up......oh my! We just thought oh that's nice. so yea I get it.
