As He Turned and Fled

As He Turned and Fled

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

a poem written while watching "Cops" on TV

"
"I didn't do a thing !"
Was all that he said
Tossing his knife and stash
And all of the cash
Still damp with the blood
That the cashier had bled
"I didn't do a thing !"
Was all that he said
As he turned and fled
With the pantyhose
Still pulled over his head

Caught red handed. Despite the serious nature of the write, I found some dark humour here Jim. A slice of tv life.
