At the Ave Maria

At the Ave Maria

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

a poem for a familiar ghost

"
At the Ave Maria
She knew she was where
She needed to be
There with the Mother
That she needed to see
So the Ave Maria
Could bring the Epiphany
That she needed ... just to be

Author's Note

Desert Knave
I use the term "familiar ghost" for a person whose memory is attached to a place or a song etc. so that they always come to mind.
