To Leave the Tall Grass

To Leave the Tall Grass

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

a cat-tales poem

"
He's way too sleepy
To leave the tall grass
Doc ain't in the mood
For moving his "sass"
He doesn't want scratches
He'd much rather pass
`Cause he's way too sleepy
To leave the tall grass

A contented cat, found his spot and nothing’s going to shift him until he is ready. I love cats and your poem made me smile. I understood it perfectly Jim.

Love this. Reminds me of my old cat, who loved to prowl the outdoors in the sunshine. And in the snow. And everything in between. Couldn't keep that cat inside. He'd come in at night though, and be a lap cat for a few hours every night. Quality time, right there.
