Silent Goodbye

A poemI wrote for my writing class. Is a Sonnet

Closing her eyes trying not to cry

She feels all alone

Holding on to dear life

Wishing she'd just known

She lifts her head takes another step

Yet another tear she'll dread

SHe fears theres nothing left

Sky fades to darkness

Shes close to the edge

She's never felt like this

She inches closer to the ledge

She wispers a silent goodbye

She no longer has to try
