Chapter 1A Chapter by Detective Watts“Our tanks cannot operate without fuel.” President Roosevelt said to the gathered, high-ranking generals. “Without it they are useless, immobile shells, while with fuel they are a mobile and useful parts of the war effort.” The generals nodded in agreement with the president’s impeccable logic. “Therefore, logic dictates, that a British person, a person that has no superpowers would; after brushing their teeth, be capable of feats of incredible speed, strength and intelligence.” The generals stood to applause Roosevelt and a telegram went out to London. Within hours the British government had begun planning for Operation Liberator. Victoria Pond sat thousands of miles below the city of London, holding the nations only toothbrush, imported for this very purpose from France. She nervously read the instructions on the back of the toothpaste tube as a group of military scientists watched from behind their blast shields. She tentatively squeezed a glob of paste onto her brush and lifted it to her teeth. From the second the brush hit her teeth her clothes burnt off in a blaze of freedom and were replaced by flowing, robes made from union flags and her bonnet was burnt off by the light of freedom. “Now is the time for me to do what has to be done by me to stop the nazi’s and live up to FULL LIFE CONSEQUENCES!” she said before bursting through the roof of the underground lab and into the light of day. © 2010 Detective WattsAuthor's Note
