Echoes

A love thing...

ECHOES

I feel your touch
warming me on winter mornings
I taste your lips
exploring all around this skin
I watch your lust
flowing into every crevice
I am alive
destroying all that's ever been.

I feel your love
slipping in between my fingers
I see the stars
fading out of your dark eyes
I catch the chill
blowing in the space between us
I hate the ache
buried in between these thighs.


I see the space
a void full of loves illusions
a photograph
a record of our history
I recall
the laughter echoes in the hallway
the pain inside
love, still the greatest mystery.
