Present versus Past

If only I could get a star

Make it a present for you

Though out of reach so far

Somehow it might be true

If only I was just lucky

Enough to be your lady

Not the way you wanted to be

But be with you for eternity

 

If only you're not like that

Complaining making it hard

Doing things makes me mad

At the end I'm soften by your heart

 

If only that it wasn't you

Who makes my heart beats that fast

Knew that you feel the same way too

Let the chance to take the trust

 

If only becomes an instead

Jealousy is out of head

Veracity will come to bed

Ready yourself to talk 'bout dead

 

If only there's a guarantee

Our love, you & me

Hear the vows our hearts speaks

Until you found what it really seeks

 

If only You and I meant to be

Questioning God is not in my vocabulary

For I know the power of destiny

People that is destined to be

Will see each other in time.. perfectly!
