Gone 'til noon

Gone 'til noon

A Poem by Dina

(I don't really feel like leaving the house today, So I'll see you later)
For some reason, I feel safest in a room where I can lose my mind
In peace.
Pieces of me tumble down the stories of words that cradle me
like a hidden sanctuary
thank god we've got some more months til January
Because the summer fairies,
they speak to me in tongues.
I can not count the times they've tried to tell me I'm the one.
Here's my verdict.
I'm not perfect, but I'm wholesome
I place all of my devotion in a magic room with potions
that create the very lives where newborn eyes can wander,
And if the time is broken, no worries.
We'll figure it out
Because in my very humble opinion...
that's what life's about.
