On the VergeA Poem by Dina
Tumbling through a trail that awaits my escape
If they catch me, I'm jailed There's no way to explain my faulty reasoning See I can't take these rules I've endured the abuse for too long. Check the mailbox, Check the news There'll be no trace of me once I cross the boarder I'll know nothing of boundaries once I pass these waters My scent will lead the way for the lost and stolen Just pray I arrive in one piece I'm no use if I'm broken Yaweh, light the way Your daughter seeks your guidance Your foot prints have been painted over with pavement And your waters have been poisoned with trash What's left of natural earth is our sacred child birth. But they are making plans These men with blood stained hands And soon they'll take this land Once again..
