Accessories matter
I place a ring on my ear
A bracelet on my ankle
And some rings on my fingers
To let you know I’m available

Body Language matters
I tuck my hair behind my ear
Cross my arms
Twist my leg a little
Lean a bit more inward
To let you know that I want this too

Intentions Matter
I made sure to cut ties with the past
To treasure things so that they last
To let you know
That when you love a poet
You will love forever
