Solitary spiderA Poem by Dipesh
At the ceiling,
Up at the angle of the room, I found a spider. Silently crawling on her web. I don't disturb; I stare quietly. It was newborn, preparing its nest. What a masterpiece! I was stunned with that beauty, With its great design, Similar to a hexagon honeycomb. I wonder if they might be siblings. But one day I see a bee's paradise, Which head was off. I don't focus that much. I began to wonder at her build, An architect without a degree. How perfectly managed, Every knot measured, And every line crafted straightly. Well, great perfection; I sleep with that. After some days I observe A visitor inside the maze. I think she’ll welcome him. She proceeds carefully And grabs the stranger in her Clumsy claws. What rivalry, The loneliest one In that paradise. © 2025 DipeshAuthor's Note
