Blood is Thicker then WaterA Poem by Dirty Frazier'Till the casket dropsWe blood brothers, one after the other, we distant, we grew up with one another. How come words can tear us apart, wish we could push rewind and play it back from the start. Growing up, I always had your back, my issues always seem to manifest by the stack. But you were there, until you grew old, no more problems, time to do as your told. Light headed, fights dreaded, hatred embedded, relationship shredded, till heaven headed. What seems like a scar, is only a paper cut, put this anger behind us, start to know whats what. Time to heal, why are we upset, no sweat no debt, forgive but don’t forget. The past is a memory, the futures too bright, my heart is not empty, for I can see the light. © 2010 Dirty Frazier |
