An Adolescent NightmareA Poem by Dirty FrazierThere is hopeGrew up, crazy and out a control, was a free spirit, but had a trapped soul. As a youth, speaking in truth, dry like vermouth stories got me wilding out in the booth. Scapegoat, nothing to lose, hard to refuse, please excuse, I found a reason to abuse. Too many friends, and not enough bros, finding trouble daily, depression really shows. Pop pills, they'll know what I'm about, start to shout, no doubt, my way of reaching out. No recollection, missing moms affection, rejection, going in the wrong direction. Regret, hard to forget like a silohette, fade in the set, trapped in a net. Reality, just seems like a dream, with no self esteem by myself as I start to scream. © 2010 Dirty Frazier |
