A short love poem

I can live beyond the stars and the sand.

When the universe is but dust, and then nothing.

When even time has ceased to move, there will still be me.

And there will be you.

Among the starless darkness.

 

Among the withering ghosts of our siblings.

The soul, the history, of all love.

It does not lie inside us,

it is not imprisoned by withering bodies.

But we live in it.

And through it, our lives will know no end.

 

I can live beyond the stars and the sand.

When the universe is but dust.

Until there is nothing but me.
