Forever, I'll Wait

Forever, I'll Wait

A Poem by Brandon Taylor-Black
"

Forever is never too long to wait, for the one you Love

"

A thousand black roses for thee
My heart is thine alone
How canst I compare thee to mine dreams
Whenst they are all I know
Declareth have I, My feelings true
And now my Love, I wait
Betwixt the dreams and fantasies
Where hopes are paired with Fate
Under moonbeams and twilight
Whisper I, three simple words
My Love, forever I wait for thee
On yonder side of the world

Another highly topical and romantic read in a shakespearean tongue....my favorite lines were,

How canst I compare thee to mine dreams
Whenst they are all I know

So true.

Smiling at you

i think this poem is by the far the finest one that i have. great images. loved the last line specially///there was so much of the poet in the poem. noticed a confused thought in the middle saw the vision clearing by the end of the poem. a great job i must say and probably a must read to people cause there is so much to learn from your poem. hope that you write more exciting stuff so that i come again and again to read it. good luck and have a nice day.
