Just walk beside me and be my friend.”-Albert Camus I need not control anyone For I've none over myself But trust me, I'll let you know When I need help Don't outshine me Or put me in the corner I'm not simply A backstage performer You think me easily tamed I can do whatever you want But that's not who I am And this s**t needs to stop You either follow me around Or expect me to do so And I'm just getting lost Never sure where to go I don't want you to drag me round by my collar Nor ride my coattails But apparently it's one or the other Or our friendship fails Because God forbid we coexist And act like real friends should Treat each other like equals And not be misunderstood
