Into darkness

A blank gaze through the haze
Lasting for days
Wanting to escape the night
Through the light
But gets lost in the maze

Emotionally drained physically strained
He breaks the chains
The life of the lost
A heart of frost
Only a shell remains

In darkness and sadness
He gives in to the madness
Never breaking free
Or beginning to be
He drifts into blackness
