Keeping 'Christ' in Christmas

A poem about the true meaning behind Christmas.

In these days of ads, hustle and bustle and retail hype
the true meaning of many holidays is lost, especially Christmas

Please remember to keep 'Christ' in Christmas
as without Him it wouldn't exist

Jesus was born for all the world
to later die for us, so we may be freed from our sins

Sadly, Christmas has become a time of stress for many
with endless shopping, parties, and huge debts

Presents, parties and togetherness are such fun
at any time of the year

But bring back your focus to Christ at Christmas
Remember He is the 'reason for the season'

So celebrate and send your praises too

to.....Our Heavenly Father
