To a partisanA Poem by DOMI'
To a partisan Bandits and rebels, Resistence, Revolution, Opposition. These words drew a scenario in my mind. I was trying to stare at you in the eyes but, I was not strong enough. Your eyes had beat death sixty years ago, You with your love had beat the war. I looked at those people around us, I could hear them breathing, moving but, I could only see us. I looked at those people around us, The show of presence, The tintinnio of a glass. The galà of good thinking people, People who survive by day and, Easly forget at night. Tomorrow for them is just another day. They don't know that they are, What they are trying to forget. They don't know what they are, It's too hard to remember. It's too hard to remember, It's convinient to forget. It's because you couldn't forget, It's because you had knew it was painful to remember, If we are all here. They are trying to remember but, It will be easier to forget. Bandits and rebels, Resistence, Revolution, Opposition. These words drew a scenario in my mind. I was trying to stare at you in the eyes but, I was not strong enough. Your eyes had beat death sixty years ago, You with your love had beat the war. © 2008 DOMI' |
