Honey, can't you see how lost I am? trying not to tremble when I speak It's you that my heart wants.
What should I do? I am trapped between if it meant to be it will, (destiny or fate) and if you want something you have to fight for it. (you write your own destiny).
Tell me it darling, can it be more or are you just being polite?
unrequited love, a pang of the heart often leaves the holder insecure of their place in the heart of another and you have conveyed this very well.
'how lost' ... 'tremble' ... 'trapped'
powerful and precise expression of the empty often caused by want of another.
the last line is spot on ...
'can it be more or are you just being polite?'
vividly honest, revealing, sincere, vulnerable ... half of love, half of love.
well done.

I liked the above lines. Honest and direct. We must be sometime. Thank you Donicca for sharing your amazing poetry.
