Young Boy

In memory of Robert Pruett, he was executed by Huntsville Texas on October 12, 2017.

He never had the chance to live his life
His father was in and out of jail
He sure did fail
He was a young boy of 15
All he had was a dream
That was all taken away
When his father got in the way
The young boy sits in prison
For the rest of his days
All because of his fathers bad ways
They gave him a date
Now he must wait
Today is the day he will pay
We pray
As he passes away
