You Will Be Sorry One Day!

You Will Be Sorry One Day!

A Poem by Donna
"

This is a very short poem I wrote today. I was upset with a family member and had to get it out.

"
Your Mother raised you and cared for you.
Now your grown up with a family of your own.
Does that mean you should leave your Mother alone?
She is getting older and she needs you.
You only come by for a minute or two.
What the hell is wrong with you?
Is this the way you want your kids to treat you?
This is not ok.
You will be sorry one day.

Ah-ha. It rhymes and that puts a positive effect on the reader when you write this, well, I just like poems that rhyme and this is a good poem simply because of how little yet fine it is. Is this a true story may I ask? Or is this a nonsense poem? I am unaware.

Ah, I see.
I agree dear Donna. My mother complained about my Grandmother. She lived 96 years. Last few years. Me, sister and mother rotated the days of the week. I told my mother. One day. Grandpa won't bother you no-more. I loved every second with her. She raised me and I was returning the gift of love she gave me. People learn too late. Our elders. We shall miss them. Worthwhile and honest words.

Was my pleasure and you are welcome Donna.
This is the only kind of venting in my eyes that fits the need Donna. I lost my mom recently and although I was around more the last of her years it turns out it wasn't enough! Even when your there all the time, after they are gone it doesn't seem like time spent at all. Best Wishes! I hope that family member comes around for you!

filial piety as Confucius said. Kudos to the mothers out there for all the sacrifices and unconditional love for their child/children.
