To Devil,

To Devil,

A Poem by Donna

I have listened to you for so
many years.
All you have done is cause
many tears.

I'm done with you.
I'm not a fool.

I'm going to turn my life around,
even if I have to beat you into the ground.

Get out of here
I do not fear

Its time for you to go back to hell.
I don't care who you tell

I think its kinda neat
that you will suffer in the heat.

I appreciate that!
A good poem for someone in reflection and attempting to escape the dark. Sadistic yet satisfying!

Thank you for the review!😊
I enjoyed this piece. I find the idea of acknowledging our inner demons cathartic. Also, it provides reference to where we need to focus on our lives and recognize our shortcomings. Very nice work.

Thank you so much!
Seems we are always "free" to chose a path someone/thing else chooses for us to use or follow.

I was hoping you'd say thank you very f*****g much
I believe we invite him to our thoughts through how we think. In some ways, it may be apparent and yet we ignore it, almost as if we were in a spell and don't realize it until we find ourselves worked up.
