Take Some Time

It's nice to take some time
to look at this beautiful world

The clouds are so fluffy
They remind me of a bunny

The birds singing in the trees
with a nice cool breeze

Children are playing
and laughing at the park
They wish it would never get dark

I see people sitting on the grass
watching the couples pass

A beautiful orange butterfly
flies by
flying up towards the sky

The flowers smell so nice
I had to smell them twice

It's nice to take some time
to look at this beautiful world.

In the UK, we are just starting to emerge into Spring after a winter that had a real sting in the tail. This poem chimes with the sense of renewal we all get at this time of year as people slowly emerge from their winter stupor and, as you say, look again at this beautiful world. Yes as I am getting older, I step back and slow my life down and look at the beautiful masterpiece that God has displayed with nature. The beauty that is all around is so amazing, but when I share it with the one person I love it is so much more incredible.. Thanks for sharing

Yes your right, but we have to know that being alone is ok. Of course it is better to share with someone you love. I hope some day I will find someone, but if I dont, then I am fine and I can enjoy this world by myself.
