I Will Keep Writing

This is for a entry in a contest.

     Writing is what I love to do

 especially when I am feeling blue

  It really helps me get through

     It's good to let your feelings out

  So you won't have to shout

     When I'm happy or sad

   mad or glad

      It's not all that bad

     Most of my stories are true

        Except for just a few

     My favorite poems to write

  are ones that rhyme

        They are fun anytime

     I love WritersCafe

       I'm on there everyday

 It's nice to see what people have to say

     I will keep writing

       to me, it's exciting.

Very inspiring poem and I relate to your word in your poem too! I love the rhythm you used in your poem; I am a Rhymer with my Poetry also. But I rhyme differently than you... I have just recently become aware of newer ways of rhyming your poetry and I am having a little troubles remembering to try my rhyming differently because I am so used to the way I have been doing it lol.

writing for me is therapeutic. Helps me collect my thoughts and deliver them creatively from my mind and to the masses (if I choose to share them with the world.) I adore writers cafe as well. I was searching for a poetry home and I'm very glad I've found this to call my writing home.:-)
