A diamond ring might help

That single line, as a joke, triggers me deeply in a very strange way. My mind in mere seconds began spitting out arguments about how a diamond ring would be a bad investment due to inflation, marketing fraud, unproportional distribution of social incentives while providing better alternatives for a diamond ring... Economy certainly has changed me.
Regardless, thank you for your comedic sense and your visit, author Dave Brown -- But I'd buy foreign capitals before I even consider diamond rings or engagement rings in general for my darlings, unless I am a fraud, then I'd shower them with empty gifts (that is just due to my personal conditions and background, and not to judge any other people's decisions as I do not have the same priorities as them nor may I see things as they do)
