Peace is the Absence of Evolution

Some debates I had with a friend.

Peace is the absence of evolution.

Evolution is the progress of us striving to achieve the best possible utility in life, even beyond our mortal limitations. And sufferings are lessons for us to learn.

Peace, is the end goal, or a stopping station. There, we exist, in an ideal state, no need to learn any further, as we have learned everything in the ultimate universe.

Thus, no need for evolution.

But that would also mean mankind has never known peace before. As we always strive with the need for evolution.
