I thought I'd only ever seen you in my dreams

 

I look not to your eyes as I swayed

Memories of our nights rewind

Reaching out to your hair so very lightly frayed

My vision fades to darkness

But I blink away the emptiness so near

I can feel it coming upon me

You're before me once again

But I cannot hold your hands

Dare I name thee wicked?

For there it lie!

And your beauty blinded me

 To what I almost didn't see

My bleeding chest bore a hole

As I fell to the floor

It was the last thing I saw

In your fading hands

For there it lie!

A beating heart..

This is beautiful! I love it. It's sad, and the language is of a different century, so that makes it even better. The only bit about it that's got a problem is your ellipses. They have 3 dots, not 2. But other than that, great job! Adding it to my library. :)

This poem is very good. I love they way it just flows. Some parts, to me, were very nice and then some parts were kind of confussing. Still good though.
