Uniform NatureA Poem by ~Dragon XMowing the lawn from two completely different perspectives. o3oThe bright skies The shining sun Tell lies Lies here are none.
The truth is here Hidden at first But it's severe It is cursed.
A giant tearing machine It roars and buckles and jeers The man behind it has a heartless routine Sounds of our screams he never hears.
Our unique curls are snatched Our crawling friends die Leaving us uniform and matched And he doesn't utter a sigh.

What a beautiful lawn All the weeds are gone Pests are out of the way Such a bright day.
The lawn mower purrs to me Making the grass neat and tidy Stocky short and cute The lawn mower I scoot.
My wife in the bed will love this This labor I do for her bliss The kids in their rooms will be happy They won't need to get busy.
Weeds are so ugly Insects are crazy The grass grows wild Good thing I keep them mild. © 2012 ~Dragon XAuthor's Note
