Walking in shadows
Darkness hiding pain
Love's game played again
Hearts torn and bleeding
Never quite healing
Why bother?

Fates decide, intervening
Two hearts calling for another
Unheard, unknown for now
Chance message, say hello
Long talks, laughter
Is it possible?

The pieces fit, puzzle complete
Dare to dance, breathe
Hearts healing with time
Doors of the past closing
Together forward
Love
