Blue Wishes

A sort of follow up to What is Mine

Blue clad doorways mean welcome to wishes  

A thousand different shades to open your heart

Red painted walls say fight to be strong  

Yellow glinting tiles offer peace and a smile  

Green laced curtains prompt play to all

Brown dusted fire encourages security to shine

A house made of colours

A life made of love  

A family made of joy  

Where dreams paint the sky

Where imagination burns at the center of the sun  

A world that is mine

Such a pretty poem. I loved that you used colors to create a vivid image and that you played with their metaphorical purpose. A nice, feel-good poem, I enjoyed this one a lot.

Daisygirl, Such a vivid spectrum of colors viewed through the many prisms that life foists upon us. As the light is distorted the colors do a sort of shape-shift into wistful pastels, making the life we live seem brighter, more inviting. Then home and family can celebrate together and look to the sky to admire the newly-formed rainbow. A very savvy write, so well done. take care...dan

Colors...yesterday as the sun was going down...God painted the sky in such awesome colors it took ones breath away. No matter what colors we reside in, His colors always are deeper and more vibrant. Valentine
