Euphonic Decrescendo

Euphonic Decrescendo

A Poem by Cerebriation

A symphony of words will bind us.
Such euphony we'll bring.
With melody and rhyme between us.
In harmony we'll sing.

Where are we? What are we to be?
What are you? What am I to thee?
Could it be? Do I make you free?
Only time can tell it to me.

If this was a concerto, you'd be the solo.
You'd be the notes. I'd be legato.
You'd be sustain. I'd be vibrato.
You'd fade out with the decrescendo.

If I was the orchestra, you'd be conducting.
If I were the bass clef, you'd be the notes.
If I were the music, you'd be composing.
Who would listen? God only knows.

A symphony of words has bound us.
With euphony we came.
With melody and rhyme between us.
In harmony we sang.
