Pools of emotion, vast and deep

Understood not-a-one

So quiet they creep

Universal and massive

Wonderful, awful, scary, lovely

Heavy, deep, whistful, and fleeting

All of the above

Existence, life....that which we hold close

Can and will flip on it's head

It only takes a second, or less

Black and white

Day and night

We grow, we hurt, we deal, we live

We think and we breathe

You are what you are

Until you open your eyes again

Life will take you away from today

To a strange and scary tomorrow

If you don't embrace it...fuel the growth

You might just lose your marbles

You might not ever be the same

For what it's worth

Love it

Keep it

Breathe it

Feel it

Take it in....

It might scare you a little, and hurt even more

But a trip to where you never thought you'd go

Will make you who you didn't think you'd be

And so, it will be who you are

It's up to you to mold and build

To cultivate and make it grow
