Unmetered Emotion

Unmetered Emotion

A Poem by Cerebriation

It's not much, but it's home
I'm far from where I once was
I'm sure I'm where I need to be
And it just gets better from here
The silence is magical...freeing
It's been one hell of a ride
And we're nowhere close to done
I can feel the power building
The storm inside my head has slowed
Time has come for retribution
I thought I'd never see the day

Don't let yourself get headstrong
Stay up and moving...on your feet
Don't let your confidence defeat you
That brain of yours is trouble...tame it
She's yours to keep, in bed beside you
You've waited for her all your life
That baby girl's arriving shortly
Dream after dream, no longer fiction
It's fragile still, make sure you're careful
