Chaos and Complexity

Chaos and Complexity

A Poem by Cerebriation
"

All these challenges and hellish forms of what we call life have turned me into a soldier. They are still working on me and upping my rank... AP

"
Chaos and complexity
This demon standing next to me
The angel's on vacation
She says this is a test of me
But this might take the rest of me
I gotta somehow make this demon flee
Before he gets the best of me.
I've done this all before.
I need no one to rescue me.
This demon is no match, you see.
To fail is not my destiny.
A demon's never bested me.
Each demon that's tested me.
Learned why it shouldn't mess with me.

You see, I've become a soldier.
From all the chaos and complexity.

powerful statement of selfconfidence, a sense of rage, and the driving rhythm as if a march to the inner war...

This is awesome Justin. I agree the rhyming rocks and the poem is excellent

Good write, and it's rare to find a good poem on here that rhymes pretty good. Though I don't want to start a religious debate on here, the part where you say that it's a test on you, is pretty much the backbone of religion today. I also liked "To fail is not my destiny."
