Rustic Wonder, Decrescendo

Rustic Wonder, Decrescendo

A Poem by Cerebriation
"

AP I wrote this in Music Appreciation class.

"
A symphony of words will take you there
Where everyone knows but no one cares
Just wait before you leave your chair
Why so anxious?  Oh, you'll get your share

If this is a concerto, you're the one that plays solo
You were their reason, right from the get-go
You'll be the one that makes all of this so
The one that leads into the decrescendo

Where are we? What are we to be?
What are you?  What am I to thee?
Could it be?  Do I make you free?
Only time can tell it to me.

If this is a symphony, then I'm the conductor
I'm the reason your callous is tougher
I'll be the one to give eyes their new luster
Like a sound with such wonder, it almost has color
